Carbon dioxide recovery saves 100 tonnes CO2 greenhouse gas annually
During the brewing process, it is crucial that the beer does not come into contact with oxygen; this results in product damage in terms of a decline in flavour. The containers that the beers come in contact with are filled with carbon dioxide. This displaces the air inside. By recovering CO2, the Mauritius Brauerei manages to save more than 100 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually, making an effective contribution to the protection of the environment.
